Warning: beware of using your Nav system, Mapquest, or similar mapping website. If the street Linda Rosa comes up in your directions you will get stuck because that street does NOT go through.

 

We recommend you cut and paste your best way of getting to the party from the directions below, though we suppose you're welcome to print pages of directions you'll never use, if you really want to.

 

 

Coming West on 52

  • 52 turns into La Jolla Parkway after you cross Hwy 5

  • Come down the hill toward La Jolla

  • Turn left on Hidden Valley; first possible left from LJ Pkwy

  • Turn right at the “T” intersection onto Via Capri

  • Follow Via Capri to the top of Mt. Soledad

  • Turn right at the “T” intersection onto LJ Scenic Drive at Yield sign.

  • Follow La Jolla Scenic Drive through the first two stop lights which are Soledad Mountain Road and Cardeno Drive / Nautilus Streets and continue on La Jolla Scenic Drive for a little just under a mile until you get to the first stop sign. (You will pass streets Campina, La Pintura, and Teatro.)

  • Turn right at the stop sign on to La Jolla Rancho Road.

  • This part of La Rancho Road looks more like a big alley than a street. There are several speed bumps and then another stop sign at La Jolla Mesa Drive.

  • Cross La Jolla Mesa at a slight angle to the left and remain on La Jolla Rancho Road. LJ Rancho winds a bit down the hill. You will cross several streets: Germaine, Rodeo, Cottontail, Via Espana, Box Canyon, and Ravenswood.

  • Turn Left on La Jolla Corona, which winds further down the hill.

  • The next left is La Jolla Corona Court. Turn Left on LJ Corona Court and drive to the end of the cul de sac. You made it! We are the white house with the long driveway.

  • Arrive at 885 LJ Corona Court.    858-456-0156

  • Please park on the street, not in the driveway.

 

If you are traveling on 5 North, coming from the South:

  • Take the Mission Bay Drive / Grand Avenue Exit. (Which is a couple of exits after you cross I-8.)

  • Turn left on Grand, which is the first traffic signal.

  • Turn right on Ingraham which is about a mile or so down Grand.

  • As you follow Ingraham it will become Foothill Drive as it curves to the left (West) and as you continue on Foothill it will ultimately become Turquoise Street.

  • Turn right on La Jolla Mesa Drive (this is at a traffic signal and there is an Albertson’s grocery store on the opposite corner) and follow this road all the way to the top of the hill where it will flatten out and curve to the left.

  • Turn left on La Jolla Rancho Road. LJ Rancho winds a bit down the hill. You will cross several streets: Germaine, Rodeo, Cottontail, Via Espana, Box Canyon, and Ravenswood.

  • Turn Left on La Jolla Corona, which winds further down the hill.

  • The next left is La Jolla Corona Court. Turn Left on LJ Corona Court and drive to the end of the cul de sac. You made it! We are the white house with the copper roof and the long driveway.

  • Arrive at 885 LJ Corona Court.   858-456-0156

  • Please park on the street, not in the driveway.

 

 

If you are traveling on 5 South, coming from the North:

 

  • Take the La Jolla Village Drive Exit.

  • Turn right and go West on La Jolla Village Drive. You will cross Villa La Jolla Drive at the first traffic signal and continue up the hill.

  • At the top of the hill turn left on Torrey Pines Road.

  • Follow Torrey Pines Road down the hill toward La Jolla.

  • As you approach the intersection that funnels all the traffic into La Jolla you will cross a little street called Ardath Lane, immediately after crossing that street bear left to cross La Jolla Parkway (formerly Ardath Road) onto Hidden Valley Road  (If you get to La Jolla Shores Blvd you went too far.)

  • Cross La Jolla Parkway and continue up Hidden Valley Rd.

  • Turn right at the “T” intersection onto Via Capri

  • Follow Via Capri to the top of Mt. Soledad

  • Turn right at the “T” intersection onto LJ Scenic Drive at Yield sign.
